An extended-family session in Royden Park

Updated: Jan 31, 2022

When Katy got in touch with me to organise a family session for three generations of her husband's family as a 70th birthday present for his mum, I was delighted to take on the challenge! They were planning on all travelling back home to the Wirral for a specific weekend so it was going to be a fun family get-together too, and a great opportunity for these little cousins to play. We decided on Royden Park, as it provides some lovely backdrops for both lifestyle shots and portraits, and also lots of natural play opportunities for the children! I love my family shoots to be as natural and relaxed as possible, so that the photos reflect the whole family having fun together! This family were so lovely and made me feel like a good friend- we had a fab time meandering around the park and wood. The highlight for the kids was finding the best pinecones from the beautiful wooded area and having a good run around. I think I fell in love with Bean- the beautiful Mini Schnauzer who wins the award for most photogenic dog!

Katy said, "Lindy, I literally haven't been able to stop looking at the photos. They are so amazing! Thank you so much! The whole family is thrilled with the images."
