Lindy Rogers
A Merseyside Maritime Museum Wedding
Updated: Jan 31, 2022
It was such a pleasure to work with Beth and Luke as their wedding photographer, from the very first meeting through to their big day! They were such a lovely couple and had planned a gorgeous early springtime wedding at the Merseyside Maritime Museum on the Albert Dock in Liverpool.
So many thoughtful details went in to the day... Beth's very clever mum had handmade buttonholes, headpieces and even a shawl for her daughter.
The ceremony was emotional in the best way, serenaded by piano music and surrounded by the original brick interior and amazing views of the docks and the Liver Building from its top-floor vantage point.
Following a fun magazine-style bridal party shot on the steps, the bride and groom had a breather to connect and take a stroll around the collonades of the Albert Dock. After a delicious wedding breakfast, the speeches were a chance for even more emotion, with lots of laughter and tears. It was so clear that there was so much love, not only between Luke and Beth, but also from their two families and all their friends.
As it turned to evening, the lights all around the Albert Dock gave us another chance for some happy connection and capturing gorgeous memories. They said, " We chose Lindy for her artistic style with very natural photos. We love the photos we've seen! They look amazing and we can't wait to see the remainder!"
