A Hope Street Family Shoot

When this lovely family suggested a photo shoot around the Hope Street area of Liverpool, I jumped at the chance. I love doing natural family shoots, and what better setting than Hope Street? It has been voted the 'Best Street in the UK', and it's obvious why.

With two cathedrals either end, beautiful georgian townhouses (many of which are now thriving independent restaurants and hotels), the Philharmonic concert hall, the Everyman theatre and several cute cobbled side-streets, we were literally falling over fantastic photo opportunities. We are so blessed in Liverpool to have such amazing architecture, rich culture and bags of history squuezed into every square mile.

So- off we went for a meander round the sights one bright Saturday morning. Sally said, "Our teenage daughters were apprehensive about having their photo taken but were quickly won over by Lindy’s friendly, calm approach. She made us all feel at ease straight away and got some amazing family shots of the four of us. We couldn’t be happier with the results!"

I've worked closely with young people for about twenty years in my career, so I'm always more than happy to have teenagers on a photoshoot. It's just as important to have lovely family photos as your children grow older as it is when they are litttle and squishy!
